Chef Irfan Dama has recreated Indian flavour in California for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit at the Google Headquarter here.
“We wanted to recreate a flavour of home, that’s why we have chanajor garam. Since we are having chai, my memories of Bombay is dipping the Khada biscuit and chai (tea). We have got jalebi too and of course samosa with chutney,” Dama said.
“It’s a mix and match of what is home is all about. These are some of my favourite items. We are all about having very healthy food and this is without any oil, very high in fibre,” he added.
