What did the exit polls predict?
Exit polls suggest a clear edge for the ruling Mahayuti. Axis My India predicts the alliance will secure 178-200 seats, comfortably surpassing the 145-seat majority mark. Meanwhile, the MVA is expected to win 82-102 seats, consistent with earlier exit poll trends.
According to Matrize data, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance is projected to win 150-170 seats, while the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is expected to secure 110-130 seats. Similarly, Poll Diary forecasts the Mahayuti alliance gaining 122-186 seats, with the MVA likely to achieve 69-121 seats.
In the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly, the majority mark stands at 145. Chanakya Strategies also predicts a clear edge for the Mahayuti, estimating 152-160 seats for the ruling alliance. Meanwhile, the MVA is projected to win between 130 and 138 seats, indicating a strong but insufficient showing to claim power.
