?? BJP has gained considerably during the past three months and search trends highlight a surge of interest for the saffron party ensuring that the BJP takes the top spot.

?? AAP??s popularity was at its peak during the start of the year but despite its high decibel campaign fronted by Arvind Kejriwal, it has shown a gradual decline and it now finds itself at-par with the Congress ?C a party that was earlier a distant third.

?? The Congress Party still trails at the third sport after the BJP and the AAP, but to its credit it has narrowed the gap with the AAP considerably in this period, from the start of polling for the 2014 Loksabha elections.

?? Looking at trends on the election days itself, the BJP led the race on April 07 also helped by its manifesto release while AAP did considerably well on April 10 when voters came out in Delhi, a region considered their stronghold. Congress is still pushing hard for a comeback as reflected on Google trends which shows a slight positive movement for congress with strong comments coming in from party leader Priyanka Gandhi.

Modi, Rahul and Kejriwal have been campaigning tirelessly across the length and breadth of India, trading charges and wooing voters with speeches, rallies and road-shows. 100 days into their respective campaigns Google Search Trends analyses the search interest for these three stalwarts.

?? Modi has been the undisputed leader from the beginning and as the campaign and subsequently the elections progressed, Modi continued to dominate online search queries. In fact, results show a significant surge in searches for Modi over the past 30 days.

?? Kejriwal remains a distant second and his overall search trend shows a decline with both Modi and Rahul Gandhi benefitting.

?? The Google Score (which maps search patterns on a 24 hour basis) clearly reveals Modi??s dominance.
