Sircilla Constituency Election Result 2023: Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, 47, popularly known as KTR, has won from the Sircilla Assembly seat in Telangana by a margin of over 29,000 votes. He has garnered 89,244 votes against his rival KK Mahender Reddy of the Congress party who polled 59,557 votes. BJP candidate Dudi Srikanth Reddy has polled 18,328 votes. KTR is Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s son and Telangana’s IT, Industries, and Municipal Administration Minister. He is also the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He was elected as a legislator from Sircilla in the 2009, 2014, and 2018 general elections and also in a byelection in 2010. Counting in the Sircilla constituency began at 8 AM. The results were declared after the completion of 21 rounds of counting.

BRS candidate KTR is leading with 87461 votes while Congress candidate K.K Mahender Reddy is trailing by a margin of 30,0062 as of 3:33 PM in 20 of 21 rounds in Sicilla constituency.
Congress' K.K Mahendra Reddy is trailing 13170 votes in round 9 of 21 in Sircilla constituency as of 12:45 PM while BRS' K T Rama Rao is leading with 36795 votes.
According to the latest trends, BRS K T Rama Rao is ahead of Congress' K.K Mahender Reddy as of 11:57 AM in round 6/21.
According to initial trends, BRS candidate K T Rama Rao, the son of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, is leading in Sircilla Constituency.
As the vote counting progress is underway, the Congress has surged ahead with a substantial lead, surpassing the figure od 60 comfortably in the initial trends. Meanwhile, the BRS is trailing.

The candidate in focus from this constituency is Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, 47, popularly known as KTR. He is KCR’s son and Telangana’s IT, Industries, and Municipal Administration Minister. Rama Rao was elected as a legislator from Sircilla in the 2009, 2014, and 2018 general elections and also in a byelection in 2010. He is pitted against Rani Rudrama Reddy from the BJP and Kondam Karuna Mahender Reddy from the Congress in the 2023 elections. The total number of voters in Sircilla assembly segment is 2,40,904.
