YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, who appeared on Piers Morgan’s show alongside journalist Barkha Dutt and Former Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, held up the images of terrorist Osama bin Laden, founder of Al-Qaeda and LeT terrorist Hafiz Abdul Rauf, saying that this is the “narrative that the world should know”.
He starts with the words: “I’m here to present proofs, facts and figures,” and shows photographs of the terrorist, asking, “My question to the world is about this man?”
Allahbadia then says, “This man was found 800 metres from a military base in Pakistan. That’s the face India recognises,” as he flashes Osama bin Laden’s photo on the show.
He adds, “This is the face India recognises because it is most specific to our narrative,” as he flashes a picture of Hafiz Adul Rauf leading the funeral of terrorists killed in Indian airstrikes. The picture also shows the Pakistani military attending the funeral.
For context, Hafiz Adul Rauf is a US-designated terrorist. He was blaclisted in 2010, but after the photo from the funeral went viral, Pakistani Army spokesperson, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, tried to offer an explanation, saying that he is a “local cleric”. He went as far as sharing his details in the press conference, which matched those attached by the US when they designated him.
What else can you expect from Chaudhry, who himself is the son of terrorist Sultan Bashiruddin Mahmood? Mahmood, 85, was designated a terrorist by the United Nations in 2001. He was also blacklisted by the US as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist, with his known address lisited as the Al-Qaeda Wazir Akbar Khan safe house in Kabul. He also had close ties with Osama bin Laden.
“We export vaccines, philosophy, engineers and leaders to the world, which is why our economy is eleven times the economy of Pakistan,” Allahbadia said, before adding that “India has never acted as the aggressor”.
He further said, “India exports vaccines and engineers, Pakistan exports terrorism,” as he gave an explanation as to why he deleted his “dear Pakistani brothers and sisters” post after receiving backlash from social media users.

“Just like many Indians, I don’t have hate in my heart for you. Many of us want peace as well. Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you invariably welcome us with love. But… your country is not run by a government. It is run by your military and your secret service (The ISI). The average Pakistani is VERY different from these 2 bodies. The average Pakistani has dreams of peace & prosperity in their hearts. These 2 villains have hurt your economy since independence. They have also constantly been responsible for terrorist attacks in India,” he had written, before expressing, “Dil se sorry agar lagra hai ki hum nafrat faila rahe hai.” [I feel sorry from my heart that we are spreading hate.]
“Pakistan has become a terror hub of the world, and it is not an Indian narrative,” he concluded.
