Voting in Garhi Sampla-Kiloi took place on October 5 when all the 90 seats of the state went to polls in a single phase.

Former CM and Congress candidate from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who defeated BJP's Manju Hooda and emerged victorious, said, "I have news that counting is stopped at several places. We are getting the majority...This is a game, the ball is sometimes here, sometimes there but we will do the final goal."
Congress heavyweight and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday emerged victorious on the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi Assembly constituency. A total of 1,08,539 votes were cast in favour of Hooda. The runner up was BJP candidate Manju Hooda, who received 37,074 votes. Hooda won by a margin of 71,465 votes.

In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged victorious, bagging 40 of the 90 seats. It formed the government in coalition with Dushyant Chautala-led JJP, which managed to win 10 seats, crossing the majority mark of 46. Meanwhile, the Congress party won 31 seats and the remaining were taken by INLD, Haryana Lokhit Party and Independent candidates.
However, before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the JJP severed its alliance with the BJP over seat-sharing talks. Manohar Lal Khattar resigned from the CM's post. Once again, the BJP formed its government with the support of a few Independents, with Nayab Singh Saini being sworn-in as the new chief minister of the state.
