Protesting farmers have rejected the Centre’s MSP offer and said that the ‘Delhi Chalo’ stir will resume from February 21. Addressing the media at Delhi’s Shambhu border, the leaders of farmer unions said that they won’t agree with the Modi government’s proposal of cotton, pulses and maize by the authorised agencies at the Minimum Support Price. Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal said that there is nothing special in the Centre’s offer and that it is not in ‘their favour.’ On Sunday, three Union miniad met the farmer leaders and presented the MSP offer. Under this offer, Centre had said that it will buy cotton, pulses and maize at MSP for five years.
