Inspector Gurpreet Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sadar Police Station, disclosed that initial findings suggest that the male domestic help served food tainted with intoxicants to the family members on Sunday night before making off with cash, jewellery, and other valuable possessions.
On Monday morning, Garcha, his wife, and two female domestic helpers were found unconscious and subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital. The Ludhiana police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
