At least six schools in Delhi received bomb threats via email early on Saturday, marking the third such incident targeting educational institutions in the national capital this week.

Delhi Public School (DPS), RK Puram, was the first to raise the alarm, with the Delhi Fire Services being contacted at 6.09 am. Emergency teams, including fire service personnel, local police, bomb squads and sniffer dogs, were promptly deployed to the school for inspection.

Five other schools, including Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj and Gyan Bharati School in Saket, also reported receiving identical emails. The threatening messages were sent from an email ID, childrenofallah@outlook.com, at approximately 1:47 am, according to officials, as PTI reported.

A source revealed that the email invoked religious justifications for the threat, stating: “Allah sees your efforts to resist his punishment. But they are futile. For no mortal being can escape the judgement of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad declares all who go against Allah enemies to the world. We see your attempt to stop us. It will not work. The Prophet Muhammad has allowed the children to burn in the sacred flame of Allah.”

It also suggested the attacks would take place on a Saturday, hinting at reduced student presence in school buildings.

Police, alongside fire and bomb detection teams, conducted extensive searches of the affected schools. No suspicious items were discovered, and all threats were declared hoaxes.

This is the third wave of such incidents in a week. On Friday, nearly 30 schools were targeted, while similar threats were sent to 44 schools on Monday. In all instances, investigations revealed the emails to be false alarms.
