Citizens of the Delhi-National Capital Region voted for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on April 26 and May 25. The 2024 Indian general election in Delhi took place on May 25, 2024, during Phase 6 of voting, to elect 7 members to the 18th Lok Sabha. The election results will be announced on June 4, 2024. Along with Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad, also underwent polling on May 25. Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar, which include Noida and Greater Noida, went to polls on Friday, April 26.

In 2014, Inderjit Singh of BJP emerged as the victorious candidate in this seat beating Zakir Hussain of INLD by a margin of 2,74,722 votes which was 20.8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 48.82% in the seat.
