Another fire erupted in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj during the early hours of Saturday, causing concern as devotees from distant areas gathered for religious activities. The fire engulfed two parked vehicles on the main road to the Maha Kumbh Mela, sparking panic among nearby residents.

Fire Officer Vishal Yadav present on the spot told news agency ANI that the blaze was likely triggered by extreme heat. Several fire tenders were immediately dispatched to control the situation. The fire has since been brought under control. The incident involved an Ertiga car, which was completely burned, and a partially burned Venue car. No casualties were reported and all individuals present at the scene were reported to be safe. Further details are still awaited as investigations continue.

“Devotees are coming from far-flung areas and have parked their vehicles here. The fire broke out due to extreme heat. Fire engines have reached the spot and the fire has been controlled. The Ertiga car is completely burnt and the Venue car is partially burnt. There are no casualties in the incident, everyone is safe,” Yadav said.
