Bihar is all set to receive seven new trains that will boost connectivity within the state and strengthen the inter-state linkage as well. On Monday (September ), seven new trains, including three Amrit Bharat Express, will be launched in the poll-bound state, reported the Indian Express.
These trains will add to the travel options for people and make the commute smoother. All these trains will be operated and maintained by the East Central Railway (ECR) zone, the IE report mentioned.

Of these seven trains, four will run within Bihar linking several towns while remaining three Amrit Bharat Express trains will enhance inter-state connectivity. They will connect Bihar with Delhi, Telangana and Rajasthan. This comes weeks ahead of Bihar assembly elections.

Danapur–Jhajha Fast Passenger (Train number 53204/53203)
According to IE, the Danapur–Jhajha–Danapur Fast Express will operate with 22 LHB coaches. It will run six days a week, except on Sundays, starting from October 1. It will have 22 halt stations that include Patna, Rajendranagar Terminal, Bakhtiyarpur, Barh, Mokama, Kiul, and Jamui, among others.
Patna-Buxar Fast Passenger (Train number 53201/53202)
The Patna–Buxar–Patna Fast Passenger will have 20 ICF coaches and it will operate six days a week, except Sundays from October 1. It will stop at seven stations, including Danapur, Ara, Raghunathpur, and others.
Patna-Nawadah DEMU Passenger (Train number 75272/75271)
The DEMU are trains that connect local areas of a region. As per the IE report, the Patna-Nawadah-Patna DEMU Passenger will run six days a week except Sunday from October 1. It will halt at 21 stations including Sheikhpura, Barbigha, Biharsarif, Punpun, etc.
Patna-Islampur DEMU Passenger (Train number 75274/75273)
The Patna-Islampur-Patna will be operated on all days except Sunday. The train will halt at 19 stations including Punpun, Fazalchak, Hilsa, Khorampur, etc.
Muzaffarpur-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express (Train number 15293/15294)
The Muzaffarpur-Charlapalli-Muzaffarpur Amrit Bharat Express will connect Bihar to Telangana. With 22 coaches, the train will run once a week, i.e. from Muzaffarpur on every Tuesday and from Charlapalli on every Thursday. During this journey, the train will stop at 24 stations including Hajipur, Sonpur, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Manikpur, Satna, Peddapalli, etc.
Darbhanga-Madar Amrit Bharat Express
The Darbhanga-Madar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat train will halt at 31 stations including Kamtaul, Kanpur Central, Tundla, etc. It will connect Bihar to UP and Rajasthan.
Chhapra-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express Train
This train will stop at 19 stations including Siwan, Thawe, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Barabanki, Kanpur Central, etc, connecting Bihar to the national capital Delhi’s Anand Vihar station.
