South Western Railway on Wednesday (June 12) announced changes to several train services due to line and power block activities for the insertion and removal of a temporary girder at LC-15 between Kengeri and Hejjala and Bridge No.855 between KSR Bengaluru and Bengaluru Cantonment. These modifications include cancellations, partial cancellations, and diversions. The details are as follows:

Cancellation of Train Services

  • Train No. 16021 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru Kaveri Express, departing from Chennai Central at 21:15 hrs on July 1, 2, 8, and 9, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 16022 Mysuru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Kaveri Express, departing from Mysuru at 21:00 hrs on July 2, 3, 9, and 10, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 16219 Chamarajanagar – Tirupati Express, departing from Chamarajanagar at 15:30 hrs on July 1 and 8, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 16220 Tirupati – Chamarajanagar Express, departing from Tirupati at 21:55 hrs on July 2 and 9, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 16204 Tirupati – Dr MGR Chennai Central Garudadri Express, departing from Tirupati at 06:25 hrs on July 2 and 9, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 16203 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Garudadri Express, departing from Chennai Central at 16:35 hrs on July 2 and 9, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 12658 KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Mail, departing from KSR Bengaluru at 22:40 hrs on July 2 and 9, 2024, is fully cancelled.
  • Train No. 12657 Dr MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru Mail, departing from Chennai Central at 22:50 hrs on July 3 and 10, 2024, is fully cancelled.

Partial Cancellation of Train Service

  • Train No. 12657 Dr MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru Mail, departing from Chennai Central at 22:50 hrs on July 2 and 9, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Whitefield and KSR Bengaluru, with the train terminating early at Whitefield.

Diversion of Train Services

  • Train No. 11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Coimbatore Express, departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 22:35 hrs on July 2 and 9, 2024, will be diverted via Gauribidanur, Baiyyappanahalli, SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli, and Hosur, skipping stops at Bengaluru East, Bengaluru Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru, and Bengaluru Cantonment. An additional stoppage will be provided at SMVT Bengaluru (arrival at 21:30 and departure at 22:00) for passenger convenience.
