As the school summer vacation is about to end and people are rushing back to their homes after a long holiday, the Northern Railway has declared to run summer special trains to various destinations. “It is notified for the information of the general public that for convenience of the rail passengers and to clear extra rush, Railways have decided to run the summer special trains,” the Northern Railway notification said.

As per the notification releases, there are five such special trains, namely Mumbai CSMT – Sitapur – Mumbai CSMT Special train, Saharsa – Sirhind –Saharsa  Weekly Express Special, Darbhanga– Sirhind -Darbhanga Express Special, Darbhanga –Sirhind – Darbhanga Summer Special and Saharsa – Sirhind –Saharsa Express Special.

Train number 01083 and 01084 Mumbai CSMT – Sitapur – Mumbai CSMT Special train will have eight trips in total with a sleeper, general class and Ac coach. 01083 Mumbai CSMT – Sitapur will depart from Mumbai CSM Terminus o­n June 24, 25, 28 and 29 at 22:35 IST while the train 01084 Sitapur – Mumbai CSMT will depart from Sitapur Junction o­n June 26, 27, 30 and July 01 at 15:00 IST. 

Sleeper, general class and AC coaches of 05577 and 05578 Saharsa – Sirhind –Saharsa  Weekly Express Special will have two trips. The train 05577 Saharsa – Sirhind Special will depart on June 23 from Saharsa at 19:30 IST. Meanwhile, 05578 Sirhind –Saharsa  Special will depart on June 25 from Sirhind at 02:00 IST.

The train 05583 and 05584 Darbhanga– Sirhind -Darbhanga Express Special has sleeper, general class and AC coaches with two trips. The train 05583 Darbhanga –Sirhind Special will depart at 05:30 IST from Darbhanga station on June 24 while 05584 Sirhind- Darbhanga  Special will depart at 06:30 IST on June 25 from Sirhind.
