The Delhi Metro train services will commence from 2:30 pm on the auspicious festival of Holi (March 25). The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
The statement issued by DMRC for the commuters said, “On the day of the ‘Holi festival, i.e. 25th March, 2024 (Monday), Metro services will NOT be available till 2:30 PM on all Lines of the Delhi Metro including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line.”
Earlier today, DMRC also announced on X that the ITO metro station will be closed from morning 8 am to evening 6 pm on March 22, 2024.
Holi special train 2024: Indian Railways unveils 540 additional train services
Indian Railways has introduced 540 additional train services to accommodate festival rush during Holi. The railways have strategically planned to connect various destinations across the country. This includes routes like Gorakhpur- Mumbai, Kolkata-Puri, Guwahati- Ranchi, New Delhi- Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Delhi- Patna, Delhi- Bhagalpur, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Saharsa, Jaipur- Bandra Terminus, Pune- Danapur, Durg-Patna, Barauni-Surat etc.
