Q3 Results Today: With India Inc almost at the end of the third quarter earnings season, excitement mounts on which sectors performed better and what’s the outlook for the next quarter. Many companies are also slated to announce their quarterly financials on Wednesday (February 14), garnering significant attention from Dalal Street. Investors are particularly keen on the performance of major players such as Aditya Birla Fashion, Alembic, Axiscades, Kirloskar Brothers, Glenmark Pharma, Liberty Shoes, Indian Terrain Farmers, NMDC, Natco Pharma, Yatra, Mahindra and Mahindra and Muthoot Finance.
Gland Pharma posted its fiscal third quarter profit at Rs 191.86 crore, down 17.3 per cent in comparison to Rs 231.95 crore during the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 1545.16 crore, up 64.7 per cent as against Rs 938.29 crore during the third quarter of FY23. The company EBITDA stood at Rs 356.4 crore, up 23.1 per cent on-year. Srinivas Sadu, MD & CEO of Gland Pharma, said, “With strong results in the third quarter, we continued our positive momentum for the fiscal year. In the ex-Cenexi base business, we are happy to keep up with the growth aspirations, and the performance has been encouraging with the introduction of new products and improved volumes of the current basket.”
Muthoot Finance Ltd on Wednesday reported its third quarter earnings for the financial year 2023-24 with profit at Rs 1103.52 crore, up 19 per cent in comparison to Rs 927.71 crore during the third quarter of FY23. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 3820.02 crore, up 26.9 per cent as against Rs 3009.60 crore during the corresponding quarter of previous year. The company’s Loan Assets Under Management increased by Rs 3,280 crore, i.e., an increase of 4 per cent QoQ.
Ethos Limited reported its fiscal third quarter earnings with profit at Rs 25.52 crore, up 23.5 per cent in comparison to Rs 20.66 crore during the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 281.22 crore, up 22.4 per cent as against Rs 229.68 crore during the third quarter of FY23. Ethos said that the revenue growth was despite the impact of Shradh (Q2 in FY23 to Q3 in FY24), 10 days of impact of Chennai floods and renovation of stores.
Snowman Logistics Ltd recorded revenue of Rs 124.05 crore during Q3FY24 as against Rs 109.39 crore for the same period in the previous year, registering a growth of 13 per cent. EBITDA increased to Rs 27.50 crore as against Rs 25.14 crore for the same period in the previous year, registering a 9 per cent growth and PAT increased to Rs 4.25 crore from Rs 3.74 crore, registering a 14 per cent growth as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Sunil Nair, CEO, Snowman Logistics Limited, said, “In Q3, we typically face a carryover of the lean period from Q2, and this year has been no exception. However, we are pleased to have consistently performed better in both revenue and EBITDA, and we look forward to a stronger performance in Q4.”
Natco Pharma Limited reported its third quarter earnings for the financial year 2023-24 with profit at Rs 212.70 crore, up 241.4 per cent on-year. The profit during the third quarter of FY23 was at Rs 62.30 crore. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 758.60 crore, up 54 per cent in comparison to Rs 492.50 crore during the corresponding quarter of previous year. The company EBITDA stood at Rs 268.4 crore.
Pharmaceutical company Wockhardt posted its third quarter earnings for the financial year 2023-24 with a loss of Rs 83 crore as against a loss of Rs 96 crore during the same period last year. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 701 crore, marginally up as against Rs 699 crore during the third quarter of FY23. The company EBITDA was down 17.8 per cent on-year at Rs 37 crore.
Graphite India Ltd reported its fiscal third quarter profit at Rs 18 crore, down 66 per cent on-year. The company had posted profit at Rs 53 crore during the third quarter of FY23. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 690 crore, down 1.6 per cent in comparison to Rs 701 crore during the corresponding quarter of previous year. The company EBITDA loss stood at Rs 13 crore vs EBITDA profit of Rs 72 crore during the same period last year.
