IT services company Persistent Systems reported a net profit of Rs 471.47 crore in its second quarter (Q2FY26), up 45% year-on-year from Rs 324.99 crore in Q2FY25. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,580.72 crore, compared to Rs 2,897.15 crore a year ago, marking an increase of 23.6%. Here are key highlights from the second quarter result.
EBIT jumps 43.7% YoY; margins expand to 16.3%
Total income stood at Rs 3,632.49 crore. The company’s EBIT rose 43.7% YoY to Rs 583.74 crore, with the operating margin improving to 16.3%. Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter stood at Rs 30.31, up 43% Year-on-Year.
The order booking for the quarter was $609.2 million in Total Contract Value (TCV) and $447.9 million in Annual Contract Value (ACV).
Attrition rate at 13.8%
Persistent Systems’s total headcount stood at 26,224 employees as of September 2025. The company’s attrition rate on a trailing twelve-month basis stood at 13.8%, while utilization, including trainees, was at a healthy 88.2%.
