The country’s Data Centre Infrastructure Market is currently valued at $2.2 billion and is expected to touch $4.5 billion by 2018. It is poised to be the second largest market for data centre in Asia-Pacific by 2020 and the investments are expected to reach $7 billion, according to a report by Internet and Mobile Association of India.
Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, released the report and highlighted the opportunities for data centre infrastructure in the country.
