According to an official release, Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), an enterprise AI decisions and workflow automation platform provider, announced Pega GenAI Knowledge BuddyTM, an enterprise-grade, generative AI-powered assistant. This assistant is expected to enable customers and employees to get answers synthesised by generative AI from content across enterprise knowledge bases.
Pega GenAI Knowledge Buddy is expected to offer enterprises an alternative. With Knowledge Buddy, customers and employees can ask questions through conversational interfaces and get audited and concise responses with attribution to source content. Knowledge Buddy will automatically search, analyse, and synthesise existing document libraries to quickly generate answers.
“Pega Knowledge Buddy will upgrade productivity with enterprise-grade generative AI capabilities that can integrate into these content libraries so both employees and customers can get optimal answers and guidance for all users,” Kerim Akgonul, chief product officer, Pega, explained.
Users can also ask Knowledge Buddy to generate new content, such as emails or documents, based on their existing libraries. It is believed that the security features give organisations control over user access rights to understand from where the technology pulls information. Content authors are expected to be able to add, update, or delete knowledge, with all actions managed and audited by Pega’s industry-leading workflow automation.
