Toufi Saliba, CEO, HyperCycle, an early-stage ledgerless blockchain project, connecting artificial intelligence (AI) machines to share resources, signed up 347,000 computational nodes, stated Cointelegraph.
Sources revealed that currently each node costs about $1,000. The project is expected to become “the internet of AI” and to one day decentralise artificial general intelligence (AGI), added Cointelegraph.
“People don’t even care about decentralisation. Most of those companies are existing AI companies. All they care about is ‘show me how I can reduce my $200,000 bill to $120,000,” Saliba explained.
It is believed that Saliba explained that each AI node is a neuron that can fire together. Furthermore, “The more you have those propagated across the globe, the more likely that the AGI is achieved by utilising all of those neurons,” Saliba told Cointelegraph.
