According to an official release, Dynatrace (NYSE: DT), an observability and security platform, released its predictions around the tech trajectory anticipated in 2024. It has identified seven trends ranging from the integration of AI to the evolution of data management practices. It is also expected to highlight the challenges and opportunities that organisations are expected to encounter in the coming year.
Sources revealed that organisations will combine various forms of artificial intelligence and additional data sources. This strategy promises more advanced reasoning, providing precision, context, and meaning to generative AI outputs. It is expected that DevOps teams will fuse generative AI with fact-based causal and predictive AI, enhancing digital innovation by predicting and preventing issues before they occur.
“As we approach 2024, many organisations will recognise the composite AI approach and the challenges posed by generative AI in code creation. Several tech solutions are expected to transition from ‘another priority’ to ‘critical business requirement’. Certain changes can spur innovation, while others will drive some crucial discussion around generative AI,” Bernd Greifeneder, CTO, Dynatrace, added.
In response to the growing integration of AI in the workplace, Dynatrace predicts the rise of Chief AI Officers (CAIOs). Furthermore, these senior leaders will focus on developing policies and educating the workforce to ensure the safe and responsible use of AI, preventing accidental non-compliance, intellectual property leakage, or security threats, as per insights from the report.
