According to Coitelegraph, Artificial intelligence can replace jobs en masse, but it might not be a bad thing, Calum Chace, author, Surviving AI and co-host, London Futurist podcast, explained.

Sources revealed that Chace presented five major misconceptions about AI’s impact on the future of work, during the  panel at the Beneficial Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Summit in Panama.

“A world in which humans don’t have to do jobs will be great. The idea that humans have to be wage slaves forever is actually a really pessimistic position,”Chace explained.

It is believed that Chace mentioned that AI advancements would have the same sweeping effect as factories and cars that eventually replaced “muscle jobs” earlier. Furthermore, AI is expected to impact “cognitive jobs,” concluded Cointelegraph.
