Construction supply chain startup Indosup said it closed fiscal year 2025 with Rs 150 crore in revenue, up nearly 40 times from its first year of operations in 2022.
The company, founded by siblings Ashmit and Akshaj Sharma, started with Rs 4 crore in revenue in its first year and reported Rs 38 crore in FY24, according to its claims. Indosup describes itself as a B2B procurement platform focused on streamlining construction material sourcing for developers, contractors and architects.
IndoShield and IndoAssist in the Pipeline
For FY26, Indosup said it plans to introduce two new business verticals — IndoShield and IndoAssist — as part of its expansion strategy.
IndoShield is described as a proprietary line of firefighting accessories, aimed at improving safety standards in infrastructure. IndoAssist, the company said, will function as a full-scale EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) arm, extending Indosup’s role beyond material procurement into full project execution.
“These new ventures are not just extensions of our business — they’re solutions to the growing complexity of infrastructure development in India,” Ashmit Sharma, co-founder and CEO, said in a statement.
Founders Credit Growth to Operations Focus
According to the company, Ashmit Sharma oversees strategy and external partnerships, while Akshaj Sharma handles operations and supply chain execution. The founders said this combination has helped address issues such as delayed deliveries, inconsistent pricing and coordination across multiple vendors.
“From day one, we set out to solve real problems,” said Akshaj Sharma. “We didn’t want to just sell materials — we wanted to streamline how projects get built.”
From Startup to ‘Project Partner’
The company said it began as a bootstrapped operation and has since evolved into a tech-enabled procurement platform. Indosup claims its services now include vendor management, logistics and project coordination, and that it works with developers, contractors and architects nationwide.
It positions itself not just as a supplier but as a project partner, though these claims could not be independently verified.
Eyes on Rs 400 Crore in FY26
Looking ahead, Indosup said it is targeting Rs 400 crore in revenue in FY26 with the launch of its new verticals. The company said this would mark a shift toward becoming a full-spectrum infrastructure solutions provider.
“We’re just scratching the surface,” Ashmit Sharma said. “Our journey so far shows there’s room in this sector for innovation, accountability and smart execution.”
