Weekends are all about downtime. After a week full of work to meet deadlines, everybody needs some breather to relax and recuperate. From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Sanjana Arora, business head, D’Decor, talks to BrandWagon Online about her weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
I love watching and playing sports. I try to get in a game of tennis a week and swim alternate days. I love watching tennis and football too. When I use to live in London I’d try to even watch a live match once a month.
How do you spend your weekends?
Me and my fiancé live in different cities so we try to meet on the weekend. We read or swim together, take time off by going outside the busy city and getting in some downtime.
What are your favorite gadgets?
My phone is my lifeline. I generally try to avoid screen time besides my laptop for work and personal phone for my personal time.
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
I would have loved to be a landscape photographer. I try it sometimes even now during my freetime.
Which is your favorite vacation spot?
However cliché but I love the Maldives. I am a beach and water lover. Water sports and the calm away from the busy noisy city. I try to go there twice or thrice a year.
A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching?
I love all kinds of cinema to be honest. Sometimes a lighter comedy or sometimes a suspense drama. My current favourite shows are Succession or Ted Lasso!
