The Job

I especially love two things — the ability to constantly push the envelope and implement ideas at rocket speed. It is interesting that I can work with multiple brands at the same time. The company’s portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands includes The Label Life, a celebrity-styled lifestyle brand, Voylla, a fashion jewellery brand, trueBrowns & Abhishti, an Indian wear brand, Frangipani, a children’s wear brand, Neemli, and Nutriglow, which is a beauty and skin brand. I think we need to bring in more old-school ideation and brainstorming processes. Our speed doesn’t usually allow for that very often.

The Weekdays

My weekdays are about 50% planned and 50% unplanned. The unplanned part is where magic usually happens — working across categories and multiple D2C brands, I try to focus on one or two brands everyday and speak to the teams to look for future building/growth ideas.

The Weekend

Saturdays are usually for general/work catch-ups that I have missed during the week. Sundays are usually mostly family time. Throughout the entire weekend, I try to pack a few hours of tennis, and once in a while, a round of poker.

The Toys

My favourite gadgets are speakers and headphones of various sizes and shapes. I own at least a dozen different audio outputs and also use them for different purposes. I travel with two sets of headphones as well.

The Logos

You would usually see me in Nike, Uniqlo and Breitling and carrying some Tumi and Bally.
