Noida International Airport stated that it has joined hands with BWC Forwarders Pvt Ltd and Heinemann Asia Pacific as duty-free partners for retail on Monday. This partnership will help in delivering duty-free retail shopping and will be driven by the requirements of the flyers at par international level, said Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International.

Special facilities at Noida International Airport:

Passengers will be able to enjoy a broad range of premium brands. Confectioneries, premium liquor brands, chocolates, cosmetics, tobacco, fragrances, fashion accessories, spices, regional handicrafts, and ayurvedic products will be made available at the airport.

The Noida International Airport is under construction in Jewar which comes under Uttar Pradesh. The operation at the airport is slated to commence by the end of 2024. It is situated about 75 km away from the national capital.

Details about the Agreement:

As per the statement released by the airport, the collaboration incorporates master-free concessions for international and domestic duty retail which will be handled by the BWC Forwarders and duty-free concession will come under Heinemann’s jurisdiction.

Heineman-branded stores will provide a perfect experience for passengers who will be coming to Noida International Airport. For the first time in India, it will provide an innovative market walkthrough theme which will transform the shopping spree for the domestic passengers, it stated.

Heinemann Asia Pacific CEO Marvin von Plato is very excited about the collaboration with the Indian firm BWC Forwarders at Noida International Airport. In terms of aviation and travel, the upward Indian growth trajectory is inspiring to be part of, added Plato.

Similarly, BWC Forwarders Director Raja Bommidala also expressed excitement about the tie-up and said that it will bring world-class experience to the country.
