Strengthening air travel connectivity, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced a new flight service connecting Ghaziabad-based Hindon Airport in Uttar Pradesh to Rajasthan’s Ajmer. The inaugural flight is scheduled to take place on February 16, 2024. 

“With close coordination with airlines, AAI is introducing new flight routes and additional flight services on various routes to strengthen domestic flight connectivity,” Airports Authority of India mentioned on X.

Notably, Bangalore-based Star Air Airlines will operate the newly launched flight service that aims to provide a convenient and time-saving travel option for passengers traveling between Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. 

The service is set to operate four days a week from Hindon Airport to Ajmer. Earlier, a flight service was started from Hindon to Kishangarh in Rajasthan.
