Vox Spectrum?s Indian operations also own Mack Telecoms and True Blue Voice India. Macktel has been offering project management services in the telecom infrastructure sector since 1995. Over the years Macktel has installed thousands of Base Stations and related equipment for various Mobile Service Providers throughout India. Recently, it has entered into agreements with Huawei to provide Turnkey Services for their pan-India BSNL and Aircel expansion rollout. True Blue Voice represents the Plantronics range of Headset solutions, targeted at the BPO and Enterprise sectors, in India. Vox Spectrum?s proprietary voice loggers are currently installed through various State Police Departments, the Defence, Ports, Banks, BPOs and the Utilities Sectors with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) utilizing these loggers on their Chandrayaan Mission.

As the Indian wireless subscriber base crossed the 400 million mark in May 2009 and is scheduled to reach 600 million in FY 2011, Macktel is poised to lead the Vox Spectrum growth path. The current mobile subscriber base is supported by approximately 1.5 lac towers which carry the high frequency antennas that are needed to propagate the radio transmission and it is estimated that approximately 1.5 lac towers are required to cater to the extended coverage and capacity to meet the demands of the additional 200 million by 2010-11, providing an immense opportunity for Macktel.
