Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik will lay the foundation for an auto components complex, the first one in the state, on August 30 at Mania in the Cuttack district. The complex, which will have casting and forging plants, is being promoted by Jamsedpur-based RSB Trasmissions (I) Ltd, one of India’s leading auto components manufacturers.
RSB Transmission will invest Rs 430 crore in the project during the next four years. The complex will come up over 270 acres. The comapny has already acquired 90 acres, according to government sources.
RSB Group of Companies chairman RK Behera, managing director SK Behera, state industries minister Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and chief secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy will be present during the foundation stone laying ceremony.
