Just a month back company unveiled performance packed?GL63?AMG?and now it has updated the ML line-up with a new product named?ML63?AMG. The rich and powerful SUV is perhaps, the second most powerful SUV from the company till date. Not only is this one of the most powerful SUV but also very swift, encouragingly capable, extremely refined and remarkably practical.
The?AMG?tag rules all over the car. From the front, the SUV boast of dynamic stance with massive front air intakes and sports LED daytime running lights on the sporty front bumpers. The radiator grille has three chrome slats and the Mercedes signature badge embellished with high gloss slats at the?centre?carry a dominating attitude on the road. With?AMG?tag, the side profile is enhanced with 5-spoke light alloy wheels which are finished in titanium grey paint affixed in 265/45?R20?tyres. Rear of the car shows the new design language adopted in the modern generation of ML series with revamped tail light cluster, high mounted stop lamp, a chrome nudge bar and the antenna on the roof. In new?ML63?AMG, the rear bumper is reminiscent to the front one that exhibits quad exhaust pipes with chrome accents.
The interiors of the third generation ML series of cars have been designed with extra care. It has all the required features to get flattered on. The?ML63?AMG?in particular has been designed with impressive quality material with minute attention to detail. It is also excellent in ergonomics and carry a vast amount of space. The seats of the this luxury SUV are overlaid with top quality?Designo?leather and the same electrically adjustable sports seats are dual?topstitched?that gives exclusive?AMG?look. The very upholstery can also be customized with optional?Designo?Exclusive Package which includes leather covering in maroon or porcelain for both front and rear seats, door and central console armrests and the door?centre?panels as well. The package also include exceptional lateral support with more emphasis on contours and higher side bolsters. Besides this, the entire cabin is being offered in ambient lighting in three unique colors; Neutral (White), Polar (Ice Blue) and Solar (Amber).
The car also features 4-spoke steering wheel adorned in?Nappa?leather for that perfect grip on the go. The infotainment system includes TFT panel at the center which also incorporates?AMG?welcome logo along with?AMG?configured menu. The screen consists of 20.3 inch monitor that also does the job for high performing music system. The music experience is further enhanced by Watts Harman?Kardon?Logic 7 surround system along with 14 high-performing speakers, wireless headsets and 2 infrared remote controls. All the other comfort features remain intact. The high performance engine is paired with?7G-Tronic?automatic transmission gearbox having?AMG?Speedshift?Plus technology. The transmission with the?AWD?system splits the power to the front and rear axle in 40:60 ratio. Combination of all the above mechanism helps the giant SUV to sprint from?0-100kmph?in just 4.7 seconds of time, reaching the top speed of?250kmph. For power hungry car aficionados, engine can also be customized through?AMG?Performance Package which gives extra power of?32bhp?and?60Nm?of torque.
ML63?AMG?was launched at a whopping price tag of Rs 1.49 crore. It is the top end variant in the ML line-up and third most expensive SUV from the company in the Indian market. The SUV will be pitted against Audi?Q7?and BMW?X6?xDrive?50i.
Besides this Mercedes-Benz India also announced modern showroom ?Performance Centre? in New Delhi which will provide hands on experience on to the vast performance oriented?AMG?range of?Merc. Mercedes-Benz with its extensive range of new launches in India, has prepared to topple Audi from the top position. In recently concluded Auto Expo it also introduced Mercedes M-Guard SUV,?CLA?45?AMG?and the production version of?GLA?Class SUV for the Indian market. This shows that company is extremely optimistic to revive its position in India once again.
