Maize prices declined by Rs 19.50 to Rs 1,291 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday following increased selling by traders in line with weak overseas markets cue.
Market analysts said fall in maize prices at international markets mainly influenced the trading sentiments here.
Lower domestic markets sentiment and reduced offtake by bio-fuel making industries also led to the decline in the prices, they added.
