Mahindra Satyam has logged on to the World Economic Forum (WEF) platform to rebuild its brand image. The company has become a strategic partner at the WEF in Davos, scheduled to be held from January 25-29. Chairman Vineet Nayyar and CEO CP Gurnani are participating at the WEF to discuss the impact of brand transformation. They will also deliberate on new business models that will meet the challenges of the current century, including population growth and economic development.
After founder B Ramalinga Raju was arrested for fudging company to the tune of over R7,800 crore in 2009, it took the firm three years to come back to shape. ?The committed three-year journey is coming to an end and it is a matter of pride for Mahindra Satyam that the journey has been successful yet inspirational for many,” Vineet Nayyar told FE. ?The whole effort is to explore the untapped areas of IT services combining the strength of Tech Mahindra and Mahindra group to deliver services across verticals spanning various geographies,? Nayyar said.
?The new rise initiative at the firm revolves around shaping new business models. This requires close cooperation from both external and internal stakeholders,? CP Gurnani, CEO, Mahindra Satyam, said. ?Ours is a story of great transformation that will help shape the world with new ideas and opportunities. The WEF acts as a perfect platform to share our views,? he added.
