JTPL City Mohali project was launched by Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday. Badal , an MP from Punjab offered every possible support from the state government for the mega housing and commercial project.
Punjab government would function as a real facilitator to promote flow of investment to the state, Badal said after the?bhoomi pujan? ceremony.
The JTPL Townships Private Limited, an ISO 9001 – 2001, ISO 14001 – 2004 company has already secured a licence from the Greater Mohali Development Authority (GMDA) for the mega housing project. The township is spread over 85 acre and will provide ?quality housing at an affordable price?.
Sidhant Gupta, director (operations) told FE at the project site that the City Mohali project was a complete integrated township with a proposal for primary to high school, shopping malls, commercial complex, club, hospitals, plots, villas, group housing etc, in close proximity to railway station and international airport. A state-of-the-art IT, ITES mall and hotel is also proposed to be developed within the township.
The company plans to spend 450 crores in the next 3-4 years in this project. The time frame of completion of project would be a maximum of four years.
