Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is keen on setting up of Sports City and Eco City in addition to the ten theme cities being setup at Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) global corridor. He was presiding over a state-level committee to decide on the draft development plan of KMP global corridor here on Friday.
In order to plan and develop the area along the KMP expressway, the state government had engaged a consultant ?Scott Wilson? in association with ?Yes Bank?.
The consultant prepared the project report and keeping in view the development potential of the area, had proposed specialised townships like Education City, Cyber City, Medi City, Bio Science City, World Trade City, Fashion City and Retail Merchandiser Warehouse Centre, Entertainment City, Leather City, Leisure City and Dry-Port City.
The committee has approved the increase of ground coverage and FAR permitted for mega recreational projects in the expressway amenities zone on the KMP global corridor from 0.5%-10%.
