Realty major DLF has agreed before the Competition Appellate Tribunal (Compat) that it will not cancel the allotments of flat buyers in its housing project ?Mangolia? in Gurgaon due to non-payment of charges during the pendency of the case.

This relief to consumers has been provided in an interim order passed by Compat with regard to DLF?s Magnolia project in Gurgaon. Similar directions have been passed earlier by the tribunal for DLF?s two other projects, Park Place and Belaire.

Compat bench, which is currently hearing DLF?s appeal against the CCI order imposing penalty on it, also heard the submissions made by the Magnolia Flat Owners? Associations about their concerns and passed interim directions on April 2.

The tribunal has posted the matter for further hearing on April 22 and April 23.
