Eastern Enviro Care and Czech ZVVZ Enven Engineering signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday to form a joint venture company within a year to cater to the Indian market with air pollution control devices.

S.K. Roy, Eastrern Enviro’s managing director, said ZVVZ Enven, originally an air pollution control equipment and system solution providing arm of the Czech multinational conglomerate Skoda, is a Rs 500 crore company, while Eastern Enviro Care is a part of the Rs 30 crore Enviro Care Filtration & Systems group, which also makes air pollution control equipment.

Though Eastern Enviro is currently catering to the lower end of the air pollution control equipment market, the company through its JV with ZVVZ wants to enter into the high-end market of air pollution control devices.
