DLF Limited, country?s largest real estate company would invest Rs 2700 crore in Punjab to execute real estate projects at New Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Amritsar .
Mohit Gujral, vice-chairman and MD, DLF India told reporters at a press conference at the site of New Chandigarh project, six kms from Chandigarh that ?of the Rs 2,700 crore, about 60 per cent would be pumped into the New Chandigarh Project?. He disclosed that DLF has already acquired 500 acres of land for the project. However, the target was to acquire 1500 acres to make it a full fledged township.
