Taiwan-based digital device maker BenQ India is hoping to achieve a revenue of USD 80-100 million by 2010, a top company official said on Wednesday.

The company achieved a turnover of USD 25 million in 2008 and aims to achieve USD 40 million by this year end.

?By 2010, we are expecting to reach USD 80-100 million?, BenQ India Director Max Hsu told reporters in Chennai.

He said for this purpose the company has proposed to increase its dealership networks and also to set up more ?shop-in-shops? in the country as part of building up their brand. ?It will be a small place inside a shop where our products will be displayed.About 75 shop-in-shops are proposed to be set up this year and by next year about 200,he said.

The company had signed an agreement with Redington India for distribution about four months back and before that they had agreement with Neoteric for distribution of products.

The company had a market share of 15 per cent overall in the LCD monitor market (in India), he said.

The company, which made its foray into consumer electronic segment in India on August 27 this year, currently offers various products including LCD Television sets, lap tops, all-in-one Personal computers and mini-projectors.
