Almond prices declined by Rs 10.75 to Rs 348.50 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as speculators indulged in profit-booking at existing high levels.
Almond prices for delivery in June declined by Rs 10.75, or 2.99 per cent, to Rs 348.50 per kg, with an open interest of 12 lots.
Traders said the fall in almond prices was mainly due to profit-booking by traders and speculators, driven by subdued demand in the spot market.
