Bharti Airtel on Thursday simultaneously launched its special PCO phone for PCO operators in all the districts falling under UP east. Costing Rs 1,999, the Airtel PCO phone will give free talktime, through which the PCO operator can recover his initial investment. The major districts in which it was launched are Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Jhansi.
The phone has designed according to the present needs of PCO operators.
A plus point of the product, which comes with a one year warranty, is that the operator just needs to enter the value of call the customer wants to make in the phone, after the value is over the call gets disconnected automatically. Recharge cards have also been designed for these PCO phones, keeping in mind both high usage and low usage PCOs, which offer returns of up to 49%. The operator can choose the recharge card based on the potential in his local market.
