ASUS is well-known for using innovative designs to enliven its netbooks and to make them appealing to all. In Lamborghini VX6, they have tried to replicate the looks and design of a Lamborghini car. To match the classy exterior, they have combined Nvidia graphics and dual core processor in it. The device is available in two colours?black and white.
ASUS Lamborghini has sharp edges with a sturdy form and a shiny top. Presence of a thin metal frame along the side panels makes VX6 secure and compact. Its left frame features VGA, HDMI, USB 2.0 and card reader slots, while the right frame includes a standard audio jack, two USB 3.0 ports, and internet LAN port. The speaker is placed at the top and delivers a sound quality much better than many netbooks. Lamborghini VX6 has a 12-inch display with a standard resolution of 1366 x 768 and supports 1080 pixel HD videos at 16:9 aspect ratio. The display is flawless and sharp, rendering an enjoyable video playback.
ASUS Lamborghini has flat, well demarcated chicklet keys, making negligible noise in the course of quick typing. Typing is fun and relaxing as you can rest your palm on wide matte space beneath the keys. Between it lays a high precision, fast multi-touch trackpad, which feels smooth and glossy and registers gestures like pinch-in for zoom-out and pinch-out for zoom in.
Driven by dual core processor, Lamborghini has more to offer than a mere netbook, although in the PC Mark test it scored just 1682. In the HDD it scored 2909 and lasted four hours in battery mark. In crystal Disk Info it registered a good health status at 31 degree Celsius and a rotation rate of 5400 RPM. Lamborghini is equipped with Nvidia graphics card, 4 GB RAM, 32-bit Windows 7 OS and USB 3.0 for faster data transfer. The battery life is a bit disappointing as 7-8 hours is common in netbooks.
ASUS Lamborghini is a netbook with USB 3.0 for faster data transfer, which is still a rarity in netbooks. It has a brilliant trackpad, keyboard and a flawless display. However, at 28k it is costlier than most of the netbooks and for this amount one can have a notebook. Sony?s new Viao Y series with 11.6-inch display, AMD dual core processor and AMD Radeon HD graphics card is priced at 26k, and is worth checking out.
