India and New Zealand’s FTA, to be implemented in October, will remove tariffs on all Indian exports. New Zealand has committed to investing $20 billion in India over 15 years. Talks with China and negotiations for a CEPA with Chile are expected at the BRICS Summit. Expanding the Preferential Trade Agreement with Mercosur is also under consideration.
