Valentine’s Day also known as Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine is a special day for every person who is in love but not many know the real reason behind the celebration of this day. February 14 is celebrated in the honour of St Valentine who was a Roman priest who was martyred in AD 269 and buried on the Via Flaminia. To celebrate this day as a tribute to the priest, lovers from all over the world exchange gifts on the day. Valentine’s Day is not just about romance, it is a celebration of love which can be acknowledge in any special way to all your near and dear ones. The Valentine Week 2017 begins with Rose Day on February 7, which is then followed by Propose Day on February 8, Chocolate Day on February 9, Teddy Day on February 10, Promise Day on February 11, Hug Day on February 12, Kiss Day on February 13, and ending with Valentine’s Day on February 14.
February 7- Rose Day
Flowers are a popular symbol for expressing ones feeling of ‘love’, or ‘like’ for another person. Like other flowers, Roses portray different meanings and sentiments. Red roses give the unmistakable expression of love. White roses express the strong innocence in the beginning of a relationship. Yellow colour express friendship, gift a yellow rose to a friend to brighten up their day. Pink and peach is a colour that represents modesty, gracefulness and they express admiration, gift a pink or a peach rose to a person to whom you want to send a subtle message of appreciation or admiration.
February 8- Propose Day
The second day in the Valentine Week is celebrated as the Propose Day. This is the perfect day for people who want to propose to their loved ones and pamper them with gifts and flowers.
February 9- Chocolate Day
Nothing gets better than an entire day that is dedicated to nothing but chocolates! When gifted to someone chocolates enhances the charm of any relationship and puts people in a good mood. The best way to pamper a dear one is gift lots and lots of chocolate.
February 10-Teddy Day

The second last day of the Valentine’s Week is one of the most popular days of the entire Week. On this day lovers get a golden opportunity to express their love with a sweet gesture.
February 14- Valentine’s Day
February 14 is the big day that holds a lot of importance in a couple’s life. Make sure that you express your love to the one on this day. Don’t worry if you do not have anyone special in your life. Celebrate it with your friends and make the most of it.
