This week’s movie releases ‘Barkhaa’ and ‘Yahaan Sabki Lagi Hai’ box office collections have, as expected, started on a dismal note, which is not a surprise. Why? Because this week, the movie going audience has been left high and dry by the Cricket World Cup 2015, which is in its final stages, and which made most filmmakers to stay away from releasing films during this period as no one was expected to ditch the telly.

However, makers of smaller films have taken advantage of this because of which we see a slew of low budget films hitting the screens.

Reports from across the country suggest that while ‘Barkhaa’ has garnered a less than 5% occupancy rate during morning shows, the other release ‘Yahaan Sabki Lagi Hai’ does not even feature morning shows. With expectation for both films at rockbottom accompanied by disastrous reviews, both films have a tough job ahead.

On the other hand, earlier releases ‘NH10’ and ‘Hunterr’ continue to draw the audiences. While both films have an extra week to add to their overall collections, ‘NH10’ is expected to perform slightly better than ‘Hunterr’.
