US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD-Vance and other dignitaries are set to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk on Sunday at State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona. Kirk was a conservative activist known to be a core supporter of Donald Trump and his campaign “Make America Great Again”. Kirk left his political legacy behind with ‘Turning Point,’ a group founded to mobilise young Christian conservatives, which became a multimillion-dollar operation under his leadership with enormous reach.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 by a 22-year-old Utah man, Tyler Robinson, who has been charged with killing Kirk and faces the death penalty if convicted of the most serious charges. However, authorities have not revealed a clear motive in the shooting, but prosecutors say Robinson wrote in a text to his partner following the shooting that he “had enough” of Kirk’s hatred.
Who are the speakers at the tribute?
The speakers who are scheduled to give a speech at the service include Trump, Vance, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard
No bags allowed
The event will have heightened security, and attendees should be aware that no bags of any kind will be permitted inside the venue. This policy includes the clear plastic bags typically allowed at the stadium. TPUSA has stated that “guests arriving with bags, even clear bags, will NOT be permitted entry.” Anyone who brings a bag will be required to return it to their vehicle and rejoin the end of the entry line.
Parking and seating
Parking for the event will be available starting at 5:00 a.m., with doors opening to the public at 7:00 a.m. The program is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
TPUSA notes that parking is free but limited, and attendees are advised to carpool if possible. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For overflow, indoor viewing will be provided at the Desert Diamond Arena, located adjacent to the stadium.
