Diljit Dosanjh, who is not only known for his chart-topping music but also his unbeatable sense of humour, has once again brewed up laughs online. This time, the Punjabi superstar was sipping what he dubbed the “most expensive coffee” in London – the Japan Typica Natural worth Rs 30,000.
The now-viral reel opens to show the Punjabi singer and actor coming out of a car in full sway and walking into a chic London café to drink the “most expensive coffee”. He scans the menu and jokes that, at the price of the Japan Typica Natural coffee, he could attend a wedding in India.
Most expensive coffee in London
As the video goes on, a barista prepares the coffee at his table. Each ingredient was first measured before it was added to the brew. One of the staffers then steps in to explain the star of the show – the beans. He said that, unlike others, the restaurant doesn’t mix the beans from Japan with other beans. Describing the coffee on their Instagram page, SHOT London wrote, “The Finest – Our Japan Typica Natural is bright, with fruity notes and is sure to delight every single time.”
As the barista works their magic, Diljit keeps the laughs coming. He jokes that he won’t consume food all day and will only drink the coffee since each sip is worth Rs 7,000.
To brew the coffee, the barista slowly poured hot water over the coffee grounds in a gold filter. She leaves the coffee on the flame for a while and later serves it to him.
When he sips the coffee and asks his team members, “Did you guys feel something different?” with a dramatic pause, before saying, “Coffee to pheeki hai [Coffee is bland].”

While reacting to his vlog, one Instagram user says, “Diljit ala vlog is the best.”
Another adds, “Paisa pe rahe hai 5000-10000-150000 – too good paaji.”
“Calculated coffee day,” joked a third.
A fourth posted, “Punjabi Agaye Oye Punjabi Chaa Gaye Oye.”
