Virat Kohli, star batsman for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), needs to score 76 runs to become the first player in Indian Premier League history to reach 8,000 runs (IPL). In Saturday’s IPL 2024 encounter between RCB and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kohli will have the opportunity to reach the milestone.

After 250 matches and 242 innings in the IPL, Kohli has scored 7924 runs at a strike rate of 131.8 so far. He hammered eight centuries and 55 fifties.
