Indian shooting star Manu Bhaker finished at fourth position in the final of 25m pistol shooting at the Paris Olympics 2024. Even though she lost the final match but what a terrific performance she has registered till now. She scored 28 shots in the eight-women final as she narrowly missed the hat trick of medals. Bhaker lost to Hungarian Bronze medalist Veronika Major in the final round.

On Friday, Bhaker’s stellar performance of 590-24x pinned high hopes for the third medal in the single Olympics session. She was ranked second overall in the precision stage and has been in a massive form till now. She has already bagged two bronze medals in her bucket. The final of the 25m pistol was held today in Paris.

The 22-year-old shooter is lagging behind Veronika Major of Hungary with just two points who has shot a total of 592 (294 and 298) which has helped her equalling the Olympic record. India has thus far scored all three medals in the shooting category, in which Bhaker has bagged two medals and Swapnil Kuasale won bronze in 50m rifle three positions on Thursday.
