Vaibhav Suryavanshi was signed for a whopping Rs 1.1 crore with the Rajasthan Royals at the IPL 2025 auction. He became the youngest player to play the Indian Premier League. Receiving great appreciation from cricket fans across the nation, he became an overnight sensation. While his dedication to his sport shows on the field, he was greatly lauded after he returned to the pavilion with 100 runs to his name in the RR vs CSK match.
Mhatre has also had an exemplary season so far. While the team, Chennai Super Kings has consistently performed poorly in the league, the player had scored 98 runs in 48 balls in a match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, both the players were only substitutes to injured captains Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad who got a chance thereafter. Fans await a victorious season from the young champions as they depart for the India-England Under-19 tour later next month.
