India vs Australia 2nd Test: Australia has triumphed in the second Test against India, chasing down a target of 19 runs with Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney leading the charge. The Indian bowlers, however, were unable to make any breakthroughs, and Australia comfortably completed the chase.

Earlier in the match, it was Pat Cummins’ exceptional bowling performance that had set the tone for the victory. On Day 3, Cummins took a brilliant five-wicket haul as Australia bundled out India for 175. Resuming the day at 128/5, India continued to lose wickets, but Nitish Kumar Reddy’s 42 helped India cross the trail.

Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant also contributed with scores of 28 runs each, but the Indian innings never gained momentum. For Australia, Cummins’ five-wicket performance was complemented by strong support from Mitchell Starc, who took two wickets, and Scott Boland, who claimed three.

With a modest target to chase, Khawaja and McSweeney made sure Australia sealed the victory, ensuring their dominance in this Test match.
